Amanda Grace is a mum of 7 from South Australia and has completely overhauled her lifestyle with the help of the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge and transformed herself both physically and mentally.

“When I started my journey I was a size 20 and it was pretty snug, I’m now fitting into a size 6/8 so that’s 6 dress sizes! I never thought about in like that – mind blown!” “

My goals when I started out were to lose the weight in 5 kilo losses. That way it wasn’t so overwhelming. My big goal was to reach 65 kg. I’m now sitting at 60kg so I surpassed that which is amazing in itself.”

2. Lucie Tekis has lost 40 kilos in 12 months!

“I feel the healthiest, happiest and strongest I have in a long time!”

 This incredible mum has lost 40kg in 12 months by following the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge. In fact, she’s gone down from a size 18 to a size 8! And she’s also noticed her energy levels have increased, she feels fitter, stronger and much happier within herself than she did before.

“I was eating my emotions and ended up bigger than I was in any of my pregnancies. One day, I decided I needed to focus on myself and become the best version of me for myself and my kids! So I did.”

“On the left, I was failing miserably with my health. In fact, I gained another 10kg+ more than that photo. I don’t have a photo of myself at my heaviest as I was embarrassed, in denial and heavier than I was at full term of all four of my pregnancies,” she says.

“Fast forward and I feel the healthiest, happiest and strongest I have in a long time!”

3. Erin Fisher has lost 36 kilos in 11 months!

The 38-year-old mum-of-two has lost 36kg by following the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge and she’s done this in just 11 months!!!!“I have seen such an improvement in my physical and mental health. I wanted to focus on better health and wanted to improve my wellbeing,” she says.

4. 2021 has seen Mum Lina Adams celebrate 21 kilo’s lost!

“I’ve gained control, a routine, more energy but most importantly HAPPINESS, I’m so thankful that I found The Healthy Mummy.”

37-year-old Lina is a busy mum to two boys, and she says a couple of years ago, she had some health issues and put on a lot of weight after the birth of her second son.

“I was tired all the time, not just running around after kids but I was feeling old and I couldn’t remember the last time I had spring in my step,” she says.

“A friend of a friend had a great success story with this program called The Healthy Mummy and so we both decided to give it a go together as well as exercising together.”

In just 7 months Lina was able to drop 21 kilos and has been maintaining her weight loss since then.

She’s gone from a size 18 to a size 10.

She says, “I have found my second journey I’m a lot more fitter and stronger.”

“My advice for anyone wanting to lose weight is to start by setting small goals and meal prep. I love to meal prep but I break my meal preps up in two days so I’m not locked in the kitchen.”

7. Jodie Skilling has lost nearly 30 kilos in 12 months!

The SA-based mum reveals she started looking for a program or something to help her lose weight then came across The Healthy Mummy.

“After a couple of days, I joined up for life! So far in one year I’ve lost almost 30kg. I think I’ve probably gone down two sizes, but I don’t want to buy any new clothes yet, but some of my clothes are literally falling off me,” she says.

“I started at 171.2kg and now at 142kg, my goal is 90kg to start with.”

“Some days I really notice the changes in my body and my mind, but then I still have days where I’m so overwhelmed and think I’ll never get there,” she says.

“I’ve plateaued for a while, but feeling motivated again to restart my journey.”

“My biggest bit of advice to others is, be kind to yourself, know your whys, do the mindfulness tasks, put yourself first., set smaller goals, if you have a bad day, don’t beat yourself up, just get back on track. Slow and steady wins the race.”

8. Samanta Lozano has lost almost 43 kilos in 12 months!

“The physical benefits are amazing….Mentally I feel so much better and so much clearer.”

“I started at 126 kgs I am currently 83.2 kgs so I’ve lost 42.8 kgs, I have 15 to lose. It has taken just over 12 months.”

Along with her weight loss, Samantha has had overcome a number of health complications.

“At the beginning I had a undiagnosed lung condition (cryptococcosis) that had actually spread throughout my whole body and IBS and a lower back problems with a lot of pain. 

“Along with all the physical problems I was also battling bipolar as I had a lot of life things happen and I’d slipped in to the deepest depression cycle I’d ever had and it took a lot of work to come out of that dark place.”

Incredibly Samantha is no longer struggling with most of those health problems and has almost finished the treatment for the cryptococcosis infection.

“The physical benefits are amazing ….Mentally I’m feel so much better and so much clearer.”

9. Mel Aitchinson has lost a whopping 36 kilos in 12 months and overcome depression

“With the help of Healthy Mummy I have changed for the better.”

Not only has the mum of three lost 36 kilos with the Healthy Mummy in just over a year, she’s also overcome a number of health issues including high blood pressure, depression and anxiety.

By overhauling her lifestyle, with the help of the Healthy Mummy App, Mel is smashing her health and weight loss goals.

When I signed up to Healthy Mummy in August 2020 I was 150 -155kg, in August 2021 we had the Annual Horse races here in Roxby Downs and I had a dress I really wanted to wear. So my goal upon joining was to get into that dress (which is the one in my picture) so the date crept up closer and then got postponed till September which gave me a bit more time to lose a little bit more. So to date I am now 119kgs with a loss of 30+ kgs”

She says,  “Set the goals, work hard, but take small steps. Don’t do it all at once, cut out one thing at a time.”

10. Brooke Baker dropped 30.5 kilos in 9 months in 2021!

“I just want to be the healthiest and happiest version of myself for not only me but my family.”

In January this year, Brooke Baker decided it was time to make a change!

She says she had an unhealthy relationship with food and was constantly tired, always bloated and struggling to keep up with her two young kids.

That’s when she decided she needed to become a healthier version of herself and signed up for the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge.

“I personally still enjoy takeaway with my family when I like to and just add it to my calories, I don’t dangerously restrict myself and still live a very happy balanced lifestyle,” adds Brooke.

11. It took Ebony Dingfelder 7 MONTHS to lose a 45 kilos this year!

“It took me seven months to lose 45kg, I was and still am very committed,” she says.
