6 Holiday Cookie Recipes + Matcha White Hot Chocolate

It’s time for some holiday recipes! Have you started any baking yet? I’ve been a very busy bee in my chocolate production kitchen and am eager to start making holiday treats in my own kitchen soon!

The other day I whipped up the most delicious vegan matcha white hot chocolate. It was the perfect cozy drink on a rainy cold day out here on the West Coast. I think you’ll love this recipe.

I also have 6 vegan and gluten free holiday cookie recipes to share with you in today’s post!

First, here’s my Matcha White Hot Chocolate recipe.

You know that I’m a huge matcha fan and am a daily consumer of it. Do Matcha is my favourite brand for its top quality with an incredible smooth taste, vibrant green colour, and freshness.

I used Do Matcha’s Master’s Decaf which is my personal favourite since I’m caffeine sensitive . For this reasons you can enjoy this warm drink in the evening.

This recipe is vegan, gluten free, and keto.

I’ve sweetened it with xylitol for a sugar free keto drink and to keep the drink a beautiful bright green colour, but you can sweeten it with maple syrup if you like.

This cozy drink is vegan, gluten free, and keto. For an extra special touch, top it with coconut whipped cream!

Course Drinks

  • 1 cup coconut milk*
  • 1 tbsp melted cacao butter
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut butter
  • 1 tbsp powdered xylitol or lakanto
  • 1 tsp Do Matcha Master’s Decaf
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Warm the coconut milk on the stove until it’s hot and just starting to boil. Pour it into a blender along the all other ingredients and blend until frothy and smooth. Pour into a glass and drink immediately. For extra decadence, top with coconut whipped cream.

  • *Use regular or full fat (in a can) for extra creaminess and omit the coconut butter.
