What Makes This Air Fryer Broccoli The Perfect Side Dish?

What Is In Sesame Ginger Broccoli?

I love experimenting with flavors to dress up a classic vegetable dish. Cooking the broccoli in the Air Fryer will toast the broccoli with beautiful golden edges. Add this broccoli recipe to your easy weeknight cooking rotation!

I use:

  • Toasted Sesame Oil
  • White Miso
  • Chili Garlic Sauce
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Broccoli

After I cook my broccoli in the Air Fryer, I love to top it with fresh oniony scallions and white and black sesame seeds for a pop of color and crunch.

Can I Cook Frozen Broccoli In The Air Fryer?

You can use either fresh or frozen for this Sesame Ginger Broccoli recipe. If you use fresh broccoli, it may crispen the edges quickly, so you could add 1/4 cup of water to the bottom of the Air Fryer to make it steam and not burn at the edges. You may have to adjust the cook time as well. Just watch it.

Frozen broccoli is more convenient. It is already chopped up for you, so as it cooks it will result in a more steamed broccoli texture. Use whatever broccoli is your favorite! Both are delicious in this recipe.

Can You Have Broccoli On A Low Carb Diet?

Broccoli is a great side dish to serve on a keto or low carb diet. It is rich in Vitamin A and C, and a great source of fiber, which helps to satisfy your hunger.

Broccoli is also good for your digestion and is rich in iron. There are so many reasons to eat more broccoli, and this Sesame Ginger Broccoli is the prefect way to do so!
