Chocolate Baked Oats Recipe

These chocolate baked oats make and indulgent dessert or decadent breakfast that you can easily adapt to your tastes.

I’ve been seeing baked oats all over social media lately. The viral recipe usually includes banana, which I’ve omitted because I find that all you taste is banana when it’s included in desserts – and I’d prefer to taste the glorious chocolate!

Mixing ingredients together

There are loads of ingredients that you can add in to create the baked oats of your dreams. Here are some ideas:

  • Strawberries, raspberries or blueberries
  • Banana
  • Peanut Butter
  • Cinnamon
  • Protein Powder
  • Swap the milk for yogurt
  • Swap the maple syrup for honey, sugar or stevia
Oatmeal batter with chocolate chips

The recipe below is for one, I tend to get out ramekins for myself and whoever else in the family wants a portion and we each make up our own, with our own inclusions and toppings.

You can enjoy your sweet treat as is or topped with more chocolate, whipped cream or ice cream.
