My grandfather used to take this medicine because he was severely underweight after having couple surgery. It helped him eat more often and gain some weight. I've been asking my brother's doctor to prescribe him the medicine, but they refuse saying since his is young it can have negative effect. He turned 18 this year and nothing is working out. We are trying high calorie shakes, pasta, and other food, but he just can't eat.
