
I love bao buns, but they’re something I have extremely rarely – and they’re usually eaten alongside mounds of other takeaway food. Linda McCartney has added vegan pulled pork steamed bao buns to their range, and they look amazing. This is part of their big Veganuary push, which also includes a bucket of ‘chicken’. Both new products are £5 and will be launching soon.

The bars, which are available at Ocado, retail for £1.60 each and come in various flavours – chocolate, chocolate orange, salted caramel and coffee caramel. They’re 200 cals each and they recommend that you consume between 1 and 5 bars a day. And do they taste overwhelmingly of peas too? That remains to be seen…
