Cassy Newman has lost 5.2kg after following The Healthy Mummy’s 12 Week Challenge.
“My pledge was to lose 5 kilos and start looking after myself physically and mentally so that I could be the best version of myself for my family,” she says. “I’ve done that and I feel great for it.”
This mum lost over 5kg on the 12 Week Challenge
The reason behind why Cassie signed up to the 12 Week Challenge was because she just wasn’t feeling herself.
“Honestly, I felt awful. I was feeling old, had no energy, couldn’t fit into most of my clothes and my mood in general was pretty low,” she admits.
“My husband had just been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and I knew that I really needed to start looking after my own health (physically and mentally) so that I could be there for him and my 4 kids.
“When I saw the post for the Healthy Mummy 12 week Challenge, I knew I had to do it.”
Amazingly, Cassie says she’s lost 27.5cm total in the 12 weeks, which was mostly off her hips and tummy.
“My mood has definitely improved and I have more energy which is great. My skin is a lot less dry too. Even my hair and nails feel healthier,” she says.
“The Healthy Mummy meals are super tasty and the app made it so easy for me to make sure I was eating the correct number of calories every day.
“I loved the amazing variety of fun workouts and the support from admin and the other members on the Healthy Mummy pages was just awesome.”

“Honestly the best advice I can give is just to start now! You won’t regret it.
“Even small changes add up to big results over time. You don’t need to be ‘perfect’ all the time; consistency is key.
“Be kind to yourself and have fun. Your future self will thank you (and The Healthy Mummy) for it.”
