Bechamel is a basic — yet decadent and creamy — white sauce made with flour. It serves as a base for soups and sauces in traditional cooking.
A traditional bechamel sauce is tasty, full of fat, and would be fantastic for low carb, except for the white flour, which is basically used as a thickener.

Come into my kitchen for this week’s episode of Diet Doctor Explores, and I’ll show you how to make the best low-carb bechamel sauce you’ll ever eat. You’re welcome!
