Is it normal for anyone else to take an hour or longer to eat a meal?

I don't know how to just eat faster. It feels like my body starts to reject the food when I try to eat a lot. I make an egg sandwich with cheese for breakfast and it takes me like an hour to finish it and sometimes I can't even finish it because I just can't put that much food in my stomach. I notice myself start to eat slower and take smaller bites when I get too full which is like when there's 1/4th of the sandwich left.
