How Do You Make Keto Sausage and Broccoli?

  • Sausage. Heat a 10 inch skillet over medium high heat. Add oil and when the oil is hot add the sausage. Cook the sausage for about 2-3 minutes until it is browned.
  • Broccoli. Add in broccoli and ¼ cup of water and immediately cover with a lid.
  • Cook. Remove lid and stir at the 5 minute mark when the broccoli is relatively thawed. Check the broccoli for doneness after 7-8 minutes.
  • Peppers. Mix in sliced red bell pepper. You want this a little crunchy which is why you’re mixing it in at the last minute.
  • Finish. Add salt, and butter and mix well and serve.

What Sausages Are Keto Friendly?

With how often companies change ingredients, and how many different flavors and varieties there are with sausages, your best bet to figure out which sausages are keto friendly is to check the nutrition facts.

Check the overall carb count, net carbs, and sugars. If the carbs and net carbs fit into your macros and the sugars are minimal, go ahead and indulge.
