MAN v FAT Football and Macron have teamed up in an exciting new deal that will see men across the UK able to purchase kit and accessories to support them on their weight loss journey.
MAN v FAT is the UK’s leading men’s weight loss programme, supporting over 5,000 men every week on their wellbeing journey.
And with nearly 100 league locations currently up and running, and a further 20 to follow in the coming months, they have now signed a two year deal with Italian sportswear company Macron to help their players look the part when they take to the pitch as part of the MAN v FAT journey.
Richard Crick, Head of MAN v FAT, said: “We are absolutely delighted to team up with Macron to provide top quality kit and accessories to our players during their time with MAN v FAT.
“As the saying goes, ‘if you look good, you feel good’, and we believe that the sportswear that Macron has provided for our players to purchase will put a spring in the step of our members.
“We know it’s notoriously difficult for big men to get their hands on good quality sportswear in suitable sizes. We hope this partnership will not only provide great sports and leisurewear to our players but also to other men who typically struggle to find clothing that they can look and feel great in.
“We have a great variety of kits in a wide range of sizes for our players and it’s clear that as the partnership with Macron develops, we’ve got a great opportunity to broaden this range even further to provide even more choice.
“We are very grateful for Macron’s support thus far and we are excited to be able to get the new kits in the hands of players sooner rather than later and working with our members to develop this range to suit them as they progress through their journeys with us.
“As we start our new partnership, we would also like to show our thanks to previous supplier RSD Sportswear for their help in MAN v FAT’s early years.”
Macron’s partnership with MAN v FAT strengthens their position as a leading sportswear provider in the UK.
Alongside a wide range of professional football clubs as part of the Macron family in the UK, including Nottingham Forest, Reading, and Stoke City, MAN v FAT members will be joining a growing stable of sporting clubs in Europe such as Club Brugge, Nantes, Real Sociedad, Red Star Belgrade and many more.
Andrea Palilla, Macron Country Manager, added: “Macron believes in sport as a medium for physical and mental wellbeing and initiatives like MAN v FAT Football positively involve us. We are happy to make our teamwear line available to all athletes who have decided to ‘play the game’ twice — the first because the passion for football never goes away, the second because health and physical well-being are the best goals to score.”
