No-Bake Keto Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars | Sugar-Free Peanut Butter Cups

Every Halloween, my kids know that once they were done trick or treating, they had to sit down and take out at least half the Peanut Butter Cups they had–because those were clearly meant for me.

The thing is, keto Halloween candy is so difficult to get! So you’ll have to make your own.

Fortunately for me, I’m not the only peanut-butter-chocolate addict who is trying to quit/reduce sugar.

Knowing there’s one of those little sugar-free treats waiting for me has made things much easier.

I used to make a sugared version of these, and I wanted to reproduce that taste. But making sugar-free desserts requires some experimenting and testing.

It definitely takes a few specialty ingredients, but I tend to use those ingredients like Swerve and Sugar-Free Chocolate chips for other Keto Desserts so I am okay with stocking up on them.

These ended up turning out so good that they became a favorite of my readers!

What Desserts Can I Eat On Keto?

If you’re new to a low carb lifestyle, you may be under the assumption that keto and desserts might not go hand in hand. You’re only partially correct. While traditional sugar-filled desserts aren’t keto-friendly, there are plenty of keto dessert options to choose from.

If you’re looking for some great keto dessert alternatives, check out my list of The Best Keto Desserts.

What Chocolates Are Keto Friendly?

Anyone that is craving or wanting to make a keto dessert is probably wondering what chocolates they can use and are keto safe. Here are some of my favorite low carb chocolate options to cook with or snack on (while I’m waiting for these keto peanut butter cups to chill):

How to Make A Great Keto Dessert: NO BAKE KETO PEANUT BUTTER FAT BOMB RECIPE

  1. Mix butter, peanut butter, and Swerve with the almond flour and pat out.
  2. Melt chocolate chips and pour on top.
  3. DO NOT RUSH THIS. Let it solidify in the fridge and let the tastes mingle. If you eat it too soon, it will taste like artificial sugar. Let the tastes meld together and it will be super fantastic. This is true for most keto desserts. You need to let them chill for a bit.

Tips And Tricks For Making Low Carb Desserts

  • Be flexible. Not everything is going to taste IDENTICAL to your favorite sweet treat, but it will still be satisfying.
  • Don’t pinch pennies. The ingredients you need to make low carb desserts can be expensive, but they will last forever with how little you use to keep your sweet tooth satisfied.
  • Make ahead. To stay successful in your low carb lifestyle, always keep something within reach so you’re not tempted to grab something high in carbs on a whim.
  • Enjoy! As long as your favorite low carb dessert fits in your daily macros, there’s no need to feel guilty. Grab a bite (or two!) and enjoy your journey!

Equipment Needed For This Keto Dessert

Nothing fancy needed.

  • I did use a pastry cutter, but you can also use two knives to cut the ingredients in if you prefer. The pastry cutter does make it easier and you can use it for other recipes as well.
  • I also like to make these in an 8-inch pan, but it’s a lot easier if you line it with parchment paper if you do that. Comes out very easily that way.

So if you’re looking for a great sugar-free Reese’s Peanut butter cup recipe, a keto Halloween candy recipe, a low carb candy, a selection of Keto Desserts to try, or just an easy Keto dessert, this will become your go-to keto fat bomb.

I also have a bestselling Keto Desserts Cookbook that gets great reviews, that you may be interested in.
