Sugar Free Chocolate Glazed Donuts (Keto, Gluten Free, Low Carb)

These Sugar Free Chocolate Glazed Donuts are low carb, gluten free, keto and are a tasty, non-guilty breakfast or snack treat!

Sugar Free Low Carb Donuts will make you feel like you’re cheating on your keto diet! I can’t think of another word that gets the kids to come for breakfast quicker than the word, donuts! At least with these sugar free low carb donuts, you won’t be feeling guilty if you indulge in one or two! The family will devour them and won’t even realize they’re healthier than the typical store bought high carb pastry!

Keto donuts can be made with various low carb flours like almond, coconut, sesame, sunflower. But today’s is made with almond which is most readily available for everyone. You can make your own almond flour, but it will be harder to grind it as fine as you can when purchasing it. I like the brands Anthony’s and Bob’s Red Mill for the finest almond flour.

You should be able to swap out the almond flour with the same amount of sunflower seed flour to make these nut free. I haven’t tested this myself, but most of my recipes swapping for sunflower seed with the same amount have worked out perfectly.

For the chocolate glaze, just replace unsweetened almond milk with coconut milk or another non dairy milk you prefer. Heavy  cream can also be used for the chocolate glaze.

The sweetener used is a personal preference. We’ve used the brand Swerve, which is erythritol because we feel it is one of the best ones on the market today. I also like the brand Lakanto which is monk fruit sweetener. You really can just swap and try recipes using different sweeteners to determine your preferences.  Here is my Sweetener Guide and Conversion Chart.
